Accomplishments

W-1133 has been very successful in bringing together a wide variety of scientists across the U.S. to examine issues related to environmental issues. The group has also been very effective in publishing in various outlets. They held a successful meeting in Hawaii in conjunction with the Western Regional Science Association in February of 2004. Various means of estimating values of environmental resources has been extensively written about.

Impacts

  1. This multi-state research committee is the leading such group in the U.S. examining environmental values.
  2. Over 100 articles in various outlets have been written by members of the W-192 research committee, much of that includes multiple authors from the committee.
