  1. Introduction and welcome
    1. Dr. Kang Xia, the new technical advisor for NCAC24. 
    2. Carlos Ortiz (NCAC24 NIFA Rep)
  2. NCAC24 Indicators of Success review update (Myers, Balschweid, McCubbins)
    1. Updated from the January 2018 version
    2. Updates were primarily wordsmithing
    3. Discussion topics included:
      1. Uses of this as a tool in departments
      2. Socializing this document
      3. Providing access to faculty for their professional development
    4. Motion to approve updated Indicators of Success document passed (Myers/Lawver)
    5. Future Action Items     
      1. Meyers will have a infographic developed
      2. Revised Success Indicators and infographic will be shared via NCAC-24
      3. How to further operationalize and disseminate will be discussed at future meeting
  3. Data set on Ag Education, Communication, Leadership, and Extension Education
    1. Jason Headrick presented summary data his research team collected nationally
  4. Managing the new research/funding landscape in agriculture, food and natural resource applied behavioral sciences
    1. Discussion and sharing of what some programs are doing to manage the current research/funding landscape
    2. Advocating for faculty in promotion process under current landscape
  5. Identification of agenda items for January 5-6, 2026 meeting  (Alexandria, VA @ Virginia Tech Innovation Campus)
    1. Potential agenda items
      1. Invite new NIFA Director
      2. Operationalization and dissemination of Indicators of Success document
      3. Continue discussion about current research/funding landscape and advocating for faculty in the promotion process during this time
