Accomplishments

Impacts

1. The Fusarium head blight risk forecasting tool developed and maintained by the group members continues to provide wheat growers, agronomists and crop consultants timely information to aid them make fungicide application decisions for FHB management
2. The wheat fungicide efficacy table published by the NCERA 184 members is updated annually providing information on efficacies of various fungicides to stakeholders.
3. Small grains weekly disease progress reports keep members informed on disease issues developing in the region.
4. Wheat disease identification booklet was updated to include wheat blast and flag smut. This publication was distributed to all group members.
5. Cereal rust isolates collection across the region helps to track new races developing in the region.
