This year the S1075 committee is planning to have 2023 annual meeting on Thursday, July 13 and Friday, July 14 in Omaha (the same venue of ASABE). We hope this will help to minimize the travel burden and attract more graduate students. <br /> <br /> Day 1: July 13 <br /> 8:30 am – 10am: Introduction, guest speakers<br /> 10 -10:15am: coffee break<br /> 10:15-10:30am: Update on proposal rewrite and FY22/23 activities<br /> 10:30-11:30am Station reports<br /> 11:30-1pm Lunch break and student poster competition session #1<br /> 1-2:30pm Business meeting<br /> 2:30-3:30pm Coffee break and student poster competition session #2<br /> 3:30-4:45pm breakout sessions for “Igniting research collaborations”<br /> 4:45pm: Announce student poster award and meeting adjourn<br /> <br /> Day 2: July 14 (Optional)<br /> 7:45-9am Transport to Food Innovation Center at the Nebraska Innovation Campus (Lincoln)<br /> 9:15pm Tour of Food Processing Center facilities and discussion of its operation model<br /> 10:15 Break- coffee and refreshments<br /> 10:30 Continued discussion relevant to the S1075 group<br /> 11:15 Return to Omaha (could begin at 11) or box lunches on site
