The 2018 annual meeting of S1064 will be held at Kansas State University, Manhattan Kansas. The meeting will begin on Wednesday, May 30 and end June 1. Please plan on arriving on May 29. <br /> <br /> Lodging is at the Bluemont Hotel, 1212 Bluemont Ave, Manhattan, KS 66502; Tel: 785-473-7091. Request the group name when making reservations to get a discounted rate: KSU Animal Science - S1064. There are rooms available in the block starting Tuesday through checking out on Saturday and the rate will be $102/night plus taxes. Suite style rooms are available for an additional $20/night. Reservations must be made by 4/29/18 to get the reduced rate. Rates include a buffet breakfast. The website is http://www.bluemonthotel.com/ to check out rooms and accommodations.<br /> <br /> Airports: Kansas City or Wichita and drive to Manhattan in a rental car. The Manhattan Regional Airport is an option, albeit with fewer flight choices. Those flying into Manhattan may be picked up, depending on arrival time. Rental cars are available at the Manhattan airport or you can call a taxi if you prefer.<br /> <br /> Registration Fees: There will be a fee in the range of $50 or $60, to be finalized once we know lunch costs closer to the meeting date. <br /> <br /> Please confirm your attendance as soon as possible, and remember that the cutoff date for room reservations is April 29, 2018.<br /> <br /> A draft agenda and meeting details can be found in attachments. <br />
