Accomplishments
The committee maintained and expanded an electronic compendium of products and their performance in research studies. This compendium is open to the public and contains information about the performance of specialized products and programs. Research included in the compendium are from members of the NCERA 103 committee as others which meet committee criteria for publication.
During this year the compendium started a transition to a new server, to include more detailed analytics, allow easier access by the public, and management by the committee.
Impacts
- Electronic compendium of products: The most recent tracking of hits to the compendium website showed over 1,000 hits to the search engine per year.
- Significant increases in fertilizer prices in 2021 contributed to more interest in non-traditional products. Collectively, committee members developed and delivered articles, webinars, and formal extension meetings, largely relying on an active group of committee members sharing data and expertise.
