Accomplishments
First Symposium was held, Sustainable Beauty, featuring lectures by members. Attendance was over 50. The audience was comprised of professional horticulturists, Master Gardeners, Extension agents, and home gardeners. Symposium will be continued at next annual meeting in Hammond, LA.
Web-site is up-to-date including a historical compilation.
Yellow magnolias, Artemesia arborescens, and Hemerocallis 'Suburban Nancy Gale' were approved for future evaluation.
Five state reports were submitted.
Analysis of Symposium evaluations is underway.
Impacts
