Objectives

  1. To develop, transfer, and promote the adoption of efficient and sustainable agricultural, forestry, and other resource conservation policies, programs, technologies, and practices that ensure ecosystems integrity and biodiversity.

Educational Plan

Direct participation by NE Cooperative Extension specialists and agents will be supplemented by extensive information on the Center's home page.

Organization/Governance

The IPM NEREAP committee will coordinate multi-institutional approaches to IPM teaching, research, and extension. The committee will support stakeholder listening activities, formulate priorities for regional competitive grant requests for proposals, and administer the Regional IPM Grants Program that is funded annually through the AREERA Section 406 authority, currently assigned to CSREES.
