(See attached participant list.) A total of 22 individuals attended and participated in the annual meeting of NCR-25. Of these, 14 were from universities/USDA (8 states total represented), and 8 were from private industry.Brief Summary of Minutes
(Meeting minutes attached.) The annual meeting followed the typical format used by NCR-25 in the past, which included a series of individual state reports from committee members and other university personnel present, as well as reports from private industry. Open discussion followed on new and emerging disease issues and other items of interest. Considerable time and discussion at the meeting was spent on the renewal proposal for the committee. NCR-25 continues to serve as the primary focal point for discussion and collaboration among university, USDA, and private industry scientists on corn disease identification and management.<br /> <br><br /> <br>This project is up for renewal, and has decided to focus entirely on corn, and drop all activity on sorghum. In the new proposal, the committee will focus on relevant activities, accomplishments, and impacts.Publications
