Accomplishments

<p>Short-term Outcomes:</p><br /> <ul><br /> <li>The recent multistate group meeting commenced with introductions, followed by a brief history and discussion of goals outlined in the most recent reports. The group explored potential outreach initiatives, considering ideas such as adaptive modifications, disaster preparedness handbooks, webinars for county agents, a list of contractor certifications based on South Dakota's work, and the creation of two fact sheets for dissemination. Additionally, plans for a doll-house-sized house mockup for Aging in Place were discussed. Grant ideas were presented, including USDA Planning Grants, Extension Foundation Planning Grants, and opportunities with the Walmart Foundation.
