Accomplishments
<p>The SERA35 group engaged in formal presentation and discussion of current farm management research and extension activities in each of the states represented. Formal topics of discussion included: economic irrigation efficiency, estimation of property taxes on forestland, equilibrium market price determination of major row crops, economic investment in on-farm reservoirs, comparative fungicide costs in rice production, use of crop insurance as a risk management tool, economics of grain drying, available options for farm machinery financing, and an update on current USDA-NASS activities. Informal discussion focused on refinement of enterprise budget generation and the availability of input market prices.</p><br /> <p> </p>Publications
