Date and time: November 10, 2024 1-4pm plus optional dinner in evening.<br /> Location: Room TBD in the San Antonio Convention Center<br /> Lodging: Since this meeting will be in conjunction with the ASA/CSSA/SSSA annual meetings, lodging options can be found at: https://www.acsmeetings.org/hotels<br /> <br /> Tentative Schedule:<br /> Saturday (11-9-2024): Travel to San Antonio, TX<br /> Sunday (11-10-2024): 1pm-4pm WERA 11 meeting; 6pm: optional dinner to continue planning<br /> Monday (11-11-2024): Travel home or attend the ASA/CSSA/SSSA annual meetings.<br /> <br /> Goals for the meeting are:<br /> Initiate preparation of the new WERA11 project proposal (due December 2025).<br /> Initiate preparation of a multi-state SCRI proposal on water management or similar topic:<br /> · Identify project director and co-principal investigators<br /> · Identify goals<br /> · Identify potential partnerships<br /> · Plan for submission in 2025<br /> <br /> Please submit your state reports no later than November 1, 2024 to Nick Boerman (Nicholas.Boerman@usda.gov)<br /> Format or information to include in the report:<br /> · Accomplishments relating to the current WERA project (see attached)<br /> · Write up to five impact statements relating to your work. Impact meaning your accomplishments and its payoff to society.<br /> · List scientific publications related to the current WERA project.
