From San Juan, the most practical way is to rent a car (2-2.5 hours drive to Mayaguez or Rincon). Two alternative airports are Mayaguez (MAZ), a small airport with flights to/from San Juan, and Aguadilla (BQN), 30-40 minutes from Mayaguez or Rincon, with a few direct flights from the mainland (to/from New York, Orlando, Tampa, Ft Lauderdale). <br /> <br /> I am attaching some hotel options. I was not able to get a reasonable conference rate for that week, so we inquired about prevailing rates for June, and this is the information attached. You can stay either in Mayaguez or in Rincon (beach town 30 minutes from campus). In addition to hotels, there are also plenty of Airbnb’s in Rincon.
