Additional Info

Plans for the 2023 NC-7 RTAC meeting scheduled for July 31 through August 1 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska are in the final stages. The meeting will be held just prior to the International Millets Conference and provide a great opportunity for RTAC members to participate in the Millet Conference field tours scheduled for the afternoon of Tuesday, August 1 and morning of Wednesday, August 2. Our host this year is Dipak Santra of the University of Nebraska. Dipak has arranged for the meeting to be held at the Gering Civic Center, organized the RTAC meeting registration process, and provided the hotel information you will need to make travel arrangements.

Dipak has set up a registration option within the International Millets Conference website for RTAC meeting participants. RTAC registration cost has been set at $125.00, which will cover costs associated with the meeting venue as well as the food and beverages during the meeting. Registration deadline for the RTAC meeting is noon, Friday, July 21. RTAC participants planning to attend the International Millets Conference may do so at no additional cost. We do ask that you return an RSVP to Dipak, (with a copy to me) regarding your plans to attend the field tours and International Millet Conference by noon, Friday, July 21. The weblink for the International Millets Conference is listed below to assist you in the registration process.

Below I have provided details on the meeting site and hotel options. I urge you to make your hotel reservations as soon as possible and send me confirmation of your intention to attend.
