I would much prefer our usual, and what we had planned for SEB. In light of COVID, we motor on. I’ve mapped an itinerary for our meeting. I’ve allotted the last portion to our advisor and NIFA representative. <br /> <br /> I listed our talks in order as we appear in the participants list, but we don’t need to march in a line. I think a round table of sharing would be refreshing. Some slides to help with necessary visuals. I added a beginning slide to mine that just introduces my lab. In my opinion, it would be nice for our contributions to make it a bit informal and more of a discussion of research going on, very briefly. Time to say hello and check in on southeast biocontrol programs. Please book Sept 29, 2020 from 3-5pm EST for our annual meeting. This will be abbreviated, and not what we had planned for SEB. That one was turning out to be quite a success.<br /> <br /> A few things on this agenda will be: a brief overview of each state research, our advisor will address the group, and Bob Nowierski will l also address the group. I will formalize an agenda after I receive any feedback from the group. So, if there are items that anyone feels should be on the agenda for discussion or new business, etc., please email me. One item we might consider discussing, in light of these variable weather patterns, is some grand collaborative project mobilizing our full southeast capacity to integrate climate predictions on biological control outcomes.<br /> If we want to allow any of our “constituents” within each respective state to join the meeting as well, also, please let me know. I think in total there are 20 listed as participants in the project. One item might be to make sure we have everyone accounted for in the project. Please take a look for your respective state.<br /> <br /> Lastly, our report will be due within 60 days of annual meeting.
