The annual meeting of S1064 will be held at Country Inn & Suites 4015, SW 43rd Street, Gainesville, Florida 32608 (https://www.countryinns.com/gainesville-hotel-fl-32608/flgainvl; Tel: 352-375-9045) on Wednesday, May 24 and Thursday morning, May 25. Please plan on arriving on Tuesday, May 23. If you plan to visit Orlando after the meeting, you will check out on Friday, May 26 and travel directly from Saint Cloud to Orlando. If not, you will return to Gainesville and check out on Saturday, May 27. <br /> <br /> Nearby airports: 1) Gainesville (10 miles from Country Inn & Suites); 2) Jacksonville (86 miles from Country Inn & Suites); and 3) Orlando (120 miles from Country Inn & Suites via Florida’s Turnpike). Take exit 384 to get to Country Inn & Suites from I-75. If you fly to Gainesville and need transportation from the airport to the hotel, please let us know.<br /> <br /> Room Reservations: a block of 20 rooms was reserved at Country Inn & Suites ($102; 10 rooms with 2 queen-size beds, and 10 rooms with one king-size bed) from Tuesday, May 23 to Saturday, May 27. The cut-off date for room reservations is April 24, 2017. To reserve a room, please go to the Country Inn & Suites website in Gainesville (see link above), enter arrival and departure dates and click "more search options" in the PROMOTIONAL CODE BOX, guests can input the code S1064 to receive the group rate. The hotel provides free breakfast (6 AM to 9:30 AM), parking, high-speed internet, and other amenities (via hotel link). <br /> <br /> Meeting Sessions: All sessions will be at Country Inn & Suites. The meeting room has high-speed internet. Snacks and drinks for breaks and lunch buffets will be provided on Wednesday, May 24 and Thursday, May 25. We will leave for the Beef Units after lunch on Thursday. <br /> <br /> Kempfer Ranch Visit: We will depart for the Kempfer Ranch (6254 Kempfer Road, St. Cloud, FL 34733) from Country Inn & Suites Friday at 7:30 AM. After lunch attendees can either return to Gainesville or continue to Orlando. <br /> <br /> Meeting Fee: There will be a fee to cover the cost of breaks and lunches on Wednesday and Thursday. Dinner on Wednesday, May 24 and Thursday, May 25, and lunch on Friday, May 26 will be the responsibility of each attendee.
