Accomplishments

W1133 members are widely recognized leaders in the field of environmental and natural resource economics. They collaborate with other scientists at international and national, public and private institutions and participate in extension programs. They interact with policy makers at local, state, national and international levels. They publish in high quality, widely read outletsmany of their publications have become core literature in the areas of nonmarket valuation, benefit transfer, and ecosystem management. This years accomplishments reflect the timeliness and importance of the projects activities in terms of dealing with policy/management issues including recreational access, water quality, forest management, biodiversity and climate change. See publications for detailed accomplishments.
