Accomplishments

FY 2026 Goals

Support Collaborative Research in the Areas of Priority Identified Above. Encourage cross-institutional work on the impact of data centers, rural access to healthcare and health outcomes, land use and conservation, invasive species, and build on themes of quality of life, resilience, and rural well-being.

NE2249 Group Renewal. The renewal writing committee will lead the organization and preparation of materials required for the Hatch renewal.

Encourage Knowledge Dissemination and Professional Development. Promote submissions to relevant journals (e.g., Global Challenges in Regional Science, Agricultural and Resource Economics Review), and highlight leadership roles and editorial opportunities within the group.
