Accomplishments
• Chapter 4, Recommended Soil Nitrate Tests, and chapter 8, Recommended Soil Organic Matter Tests were updated in our publication “Recommended Soil Testing Procedures for the Northeastern United States, Northeastern Regional Publication No. 493.
• Added a table of wavelengths for routine analysis to our Regional Publication No. 493.
• Also updated the appendix to Regional Publication No. 492.
• The University of Vermont updated their P-Index, and fertilizer and manure recommendations.
Impacts
- Data and information supplied by NECC 1312 were used to update the Regional Publication “Recommended Soil Testing Procedures for the Northeastern United States”, Northeastern Regional Publication No. 493.
- Data and information supplied by NECC 1312 were used to update P-Indexes and fertilizer and manure recommendations at university soil testing labs.
