The meeting was held in conjunction with the tri-societies meeting, Denver, CO.
John Seaman called the meeting to order. Those present introduced themselves since thee were several new members.
Old Business:
1. S-280 Final Report
2. S-280 Termination report
3. Billy Kingery related that Ben Haijek had requested something be made available to maintain the southern region mineralogy map and the soil x-ray database. Billy was requested to ask Ben how and what would be the best way to accomplish his request.
New Business:
1. Meeting of the 2004 Spring meeting, hosted by Florida
a. Gainesville, FL
b. May 24-27, 2004
2. Discussion of site selection criteria, sample collection, and protocols are to be the focus of the Florida meeting.
3. It was suggested the samples should be obtained from the 0-15 cm (6 in) depth from treated and untreated areas.
4. Tasos, Billy, Norman, John and Wayne agreed to search other projects related to the above and present information at the May meeting.
