The meeting was called to order by chair Christian Thill. John Bamberg presented an NRSP 6 update. Shelley Jansky discussed the NCCC84 Project Renewal efforts. Potato breeding research projects in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Minnesota were discussed. The NCR Potato Variety trial results were presented and discussed. Cultivar development reports were presented by breeders in Michigan, Minnesota, New Brunswick, Wisconsin and Idaho. The SCRI acrylamide project was introduced by Paul Bethke and AJ Bussan. Leadership for 2012 will be Félix Navarro (chair), Dennis Halterman (vice chair) and Dave Douches (secretary).
