Minutes:
The meeting was via teleconference at 3:00 p.m. EDT.
The participating S1022 members decided to hold a meeting in Savannah, Georgia around the first week of June 2010 for the purpose of writing the termination report. Peter Hartel will serve as the host/chair. Peter requested that all members come to Savannah with their individual, final reports in hand and ready to incorporate this material into the project termination report.
There was some discussion with Mervalin about what to do about members who did not attend any of the project meetings or submit annual reports. It was decided that there was not much that could be done, especially since the project was in the final year. Mervalin stated that the failure of individuals to submit reports to CSREES would hurt those individuals when they applied for other grants. This should not hurt the overall project as long as each of the project objectives were addressed.
Business:
Election of new officers. Dr. Peter Hartel was selected as chair for 2010 and will serve as host.
Next meeting: To be held first week of June, 2010 in Savanah, Georgia.
