When: October 1–2, 2026<br /> • Where: Atheneum Suites Hotel, 1000 Brush St, Detroit, MI 48226 (Atheneum Suites Website)<br /> o Group Rate: $154 per night: You must call the hotel directly to book your room and explicitly state that you are with the "MSU water economist meeting" to receive the $154/night group rate. This rate is on hold until August 30.<br /> • Registration Fee: $100 (Onsite payment via personal check, Venmo, or Zelle. Receipts will be provided at the meeting).<br /> • Registration Form: Please fill out our registration form [here] if you plan to attend in person.<br /> <br /> Tentative Schedule<br /> • Thursday (October 1):<br /> o Excursions and networking! We are planning a trip to see some of Michigan's water resources (Saginaw Bay, WLEB watersheds).<br /> • Friday (October 2):<br /> o Invited Speakers (Matt Conrad, others)<br /> o Business Meeting<br /> o Research & Collaboration Mini-Talks: A session featuring current research, member updates, and potential group collaborations. Presenting a mini-talk is voluntary (you can indicate your interest on the registration form).
