In the meantime:<br /> <br /> The annual research update meeting of the S-1086 multi-state research project “Genetic aspects of beef cow adaptation to diverse U.S. production environments” will be held May 20 and 21, 2026, at the San Antonio Viejo Ranch, owned and operated by the East Foundation https://eastfoundation.net/our-land/, south of Hebbronville, Texas. The ranch is approximately 2 hours from Corpus Christi, which has a major airport. Other nearby airports include San Antonio, Laredo, and Harlingen.<br /> <br /> Lodging for the nights of the 19th and 20th will be on the ranch. Meals will be catered on the evenings of the 19th and 20th, as well as the noon meal on the 20th. Light breakfast and coffee will be provided. The total costs for lodging and meals will tentatively be $220 per attendee.<br /> <br /> Due to the need for additional planning relative to group size, please confirm your attendance by letting David Riley know by 31 March 2026.
