Xingyou Gu, South Dakota State University, is hosting this year’s W5168 meeting.<br /> <br /> Place: South Dakota University, Brookings, SD<br /> Dates: July 18-19, 2025<br /> <br /> Here are the details for the directions/hotel/etc.<br /> <br /> Transportation: It is suggested to fly to the Sioux Falls regional airport (FSD) and drive from FSD to Brookings, SD, which takes about 50 minutes. <br /> <br /> Hotel: There are several hotels in the town. The one nearest the campus is Comfort Suites at 929 25th Avenue, Brookings, SD 57006. There are about 10 rooms with the government rate on July 17 and 18, refer to the attachment. I will contact the other hotels for the room information. <br /> <br /> Thursday, July 17:<br /> Travel to meeting<br /> Evening group diner: location to be determined.<br /> <br /> Friday, July 18:<br /> Conference Room: Reven 176 on the campus.<br /> Speakers from SDSU: Welcome remarks & others by Dr. Jone Blandon, Associate Dean & AES director (confirmed); a plenary talk on Precision Agriculture Research at SDSU (to be determined).<br /> Tours: SDSU Seed Test Lab & SGS North America Inc. before 4 pm. <br /> Group diner: to be determined.<br /> <br /> Saturday, July 19: <br /> Conference Room: Reven 176 on the campus.<br /> Two or more Graduate Students will talk during the meeting. <br /> <br /> Sunday, July 20:<br /> Travel home<br /> <br /> Other information:<br /> Coffee, water and snacks will be provided during the meeting. We are working for support for one or more dinners/lunches. <br /> For those who plan to visit the north prairie area, such as Badland and Mt.
