The NC1211 annual meeting will take place on SEPTEMBER 8, 2024, immediately before the conference ECPLF (https://www.ecplf2024.it/; European Conference on Precision Livestock Farming)<br /> <br /> Important FYI: If you are with a Land-grant institution's AES and wish to receive Hatch Multistate travel support for this international meeting, please obtain prior approval from your AES office before booking.<br /> <br /> From USDA-NIFA, by way of Chris Hamilton, NCRA Assistant Director (chamilton@wisc.edu): Please review the 200.475 CFR on Travel Costs as well as reviewing the Terms and Conditions of the award and the Allowable Costs section of the NIFA Policy Guide. <br /> <br /> Foreign travel does require prior approval; however, it will depend on the NIFA program funding being used on who must approve. Per the NIFA policy guide, the use of Hatch Multistate funds to cover travel to Hatch Multistate meetings is allowable so long as it is in support of program objectives and in accordance with the Institution's policies and procedures. Foreign travel does require prior approval, which is delegated to the Experiment Station Director for Hatch Act Research Programs.
