The primary purpose of this meeting is to bring collaborators together to develop objectives for the proposal for this new multi-state Hatch project. The project proposal is due January 15, 2023. If accepted, the project would start October 1, 2023.<br /> <br /> We will also need to select officers at that time.<br /> <br /> The Annual meeting will be held February 23, from 1-5 pm in Newport, OR. This meeting immediately follows the Pacific Fisheries Technologist Meeting (pftfish.net) which is held February 20-23. If you plan to attend in person, there is a room block for PFT. You will need to call the hotel directly to make your reservation and tell them you are with PFT. The information for hotel is on the PFT website.<br /> We will have a virtual meeting on Jan 31 to answer questions about the multi-state Hatch Projects since many of you are participating on one for the first time and to describe goals for the afternoon February 23 so we can use our time efficiently. If you cannot make the annual meeting in person, we will be accommodating attendees virtually.<br /> <br /> I have attached what was submitted to create the multi-state Hatch Project. I will be sending out examples of multi-state projects in later communications.
