WERA 1010 participants,<br /> We are two months away from our meeting in Tucson on February 16 and 17, 2023 for WERA 1010 Improving Data Quality from Sample Surveys to foster Agricultural and Community Development in Rural America.<br /> The meeting will be held at the Best Western InnSuites in Tucson, as usual. When you make hotel reservations be sure to tell them you are part of the WERA 1010 group. The rate will be $139 plus tax. Yes, this is an increase over previous years and part of the larger trend in the industry (I tried to get a smaller increase to no avail). Their phone number is (520) 297-8111.<br /> <br /> Renewal – our WERA project renewal is due on January 15, 2023. After some emails and discussions about how to proceed, it was discovered that we can file a WDC for a one-year continuation (which would allow us to meet in 2023 as planned) and use a portion of our annual meeting to discuss and organize a full WERA submission. This would allow for a broader conversation amongst participants to identify and align projects for the next cycle. <br /> <br /> Agenda items…are there items you would like to add to the meeting agenda? We will do our customary state reports as either independent offerings or as integrated with other topics, when appropriate. <br /> <br />
