Authorization for the 2022 meeting of the W-4168 Multi-state group<br /> <br /> Dates: October 13-15, 2022<br /> Location: Tucson, AZ at the School of Plant Sciences at the University of Arizona<br /> Host: Dr. Ramin Yadegari<br /> Housing: Specific info on housing for the meeting will be identified and shared soon.<br /> <br /> Agenda:<br /> • Annual reports from each state (30 minute oral reports)<br /> • The U of A Experiment Station director and other administrators will speak giving a brief overview of agriculture and related concerns in Arizona and relative to the W4168 project administration.<br /> • A welcome dinner will be held on the Thursday night October 13 at a local restaurant near the hotel.<br /> • The formal business meeting will begin at 8:30 AM on Friday Oct. 14 and continue until noon on Saturday October 15.<br /> • Field trips to laboratories and research at the University of Arizona<br /> • A key agenda item is to form a rewrite committee to write a draft outline of new W-4168 project proposal. The current project ends on 09/30/2024 and experience has taught us to allow plenty of time prepare a new project proposal.<br /> • There is no planned formal registration fee charge.<br /> • Attendance through Zoom may also be available. A few weeks before the meeting, members will be queried to determine who will attend in person and who will participate on-line and we finalize the order of speakers over the two days of the event.<br /> <br />
