Goals for this years meeting: research updates including welcoming new members of the group and discussion of some larger group projects. We are sorry to say that we need to move the January multistate meeting to an online-only format. Cornell is currently experiencing a high number of covid cases and visitors are not currently allowed on campus. We thought about changing the date, but we plan to use this meeting to spearhead some group projects and want to have time to think about these projects before the field season starts. The meeting will remain on January 10-11 from 11 am-5 pm EST, virtual only. If you would like to give a short 5 minute talk on your research, please send Jennifer an email (jst37@cornell.edu) by January 6th. A simple yes I want to give a talk is sufficient. These are meant to be short talks and can be very informal, they are just so the group gets a flavor of the research you do or an update on your work. Please ask if you have questions about the talks. The two topics of the meeting will the research presentations followed by discussions of 4 proposals for group projects this multistate could spearhead.
