Additional Info
Dear NC-1210 Members-

The purpose of this email is to announce the upcoming NC-1210 meeting, to be held in Corpus Christi, Texas on the campus of Texas A&M at Corpus Christi, on Jan. 6, 7, and 8, 2022. The meeting will be named the “NC-1210/DIFM Annual Conference.”

Since travel funding for many will come through the NC-1210 multistate project, all of you who are faculty members should go through your University’s experiment station to approve funding and book travel. It may be that some of your Experiment Stations will limit the number of NC-1210 members that they are willing to fund for this conference. If that is you case, please use the DIFM-CIGOFT travel funding to attend. Please let Carli know if there are any complications.

I would like people to purchase their airline tickets ASAP. American, United, and Southwest Airlines all serve Corpus Christi, but the planes tend to be small, so we need people to get their tickets before seats run out.

I know that several of you have grad students that need to come to this conference. Please let Carli know if your DIFM-CIGOFT travel funds are not sufficient to fund their travel.

I am also going to post this message on the Slack channel difm-nc1210-annual-meeting-2021 (which is misnamed, because the conference will start in the first week of 2022!). Please post comments and questions there, and not via email. Please let Carli know your itinerary as soon as you buy your tickets. We will be bothering you a good deal until you get those plane tickets, so it will be easier for you to buy them right away, to avoid our emails.
