The 2020 NE1640 annual meeting will take place October 20-23, 2020 and will be hosted by our Connecticut member James Lamondia. <br /> <br /> The break down of the plans are to arrive on October 20th, meet on October 21st and 22nd, and go on a field trip to a farm in Shelton CT on the 23rd. This farm grows small fruit, pumpkins, Christmas trees and has a winery. They do a lot of educational outreach with the community. Nematodes were the biggest challenge to their strawberry production until they started rotating. <br /> <br /> The meeting will be in the Windsor Valley Lab and the address is: 153 Cook Hill Road, Windsor CT and here is the website if you need more information on the location of the meeting: https://portal.ct.gov/CAES/ABOUT-CAES/Departments/Valley-Laboratory.
