Greetings NC1184 members. We look forward to your attendance at our annual multistate meeting which will be held at Mississippi State University in Starkville Mississippi this year October 25-26, 2019. We are certain to have a great time sharing the exciting progress we have all made toward our multistate project objectives. For your convenience, we have provided some details and general information regarding travel, lodging, and other arrangements in preparation for your trip to “StarkVegas.” Please feel free to contact me with any questions you might have regarding the travel or the meeting itself. Thank you for your time and I look forward to visiting with you all this fall.<br /> <br /> Transportation:<br /> The local Airport is Golden Triangle Regional Airport (GTR). This is located about 30 minutes from MSU Campus and the Hotels in Starkville. Any flight into and out of GTR will connect through Atlanta Airport. We plan to have a van to shuttle participants to and from the airport on Thursday (Arrivals) and Saturday (Departures). There is also free shuttle that travels back and forth between the campus and the GTR airport. Rental cars are also available onsite at the airport. In terms of other flying options, there are also 3 airports that are within about 2 hours of Starkville and include Memphis International Airport, Birmingham International Airport, and Jackson International Airport. Participants flying into any of these airports will need to arrange transportation or rental car to campus. Once on campus we will have transportation for all participants. The hotels are located within short walking distance of various local restaurants and sportsbars so other than getting to and from the airport, individual transportation needs for participants should be minimal.<br /> <br /> Lodging: <br /> A block of rooms has been reserved at the <br /> Holiday Inn Express & Suites Starkville hotel under the group name NC1184.<br /> 110 B Highway 12 West, Starkville, MS 39759<br /> Phone: (662) 324-0076<br /> The deadline to reserve rooms through this block is October 10, 2019.
