As most of you know, the 2019 W-3045 meetings will be held at the <br /> >University of Nevada, Reno beginning on Sunday, June 2nd through Tuesday<br /> >June 4. This is a writing year, so the entire group will meet on Monday<br /> >and Tuesday morning for the review and spend the remainder of Tuesday <br /> >at UNR (exact location TBD) to discuss the next 5-year application, and <br /> >a writing group (a subset of the larger group) will complete the writing<br /> >on the next day and or over the next several weeks via email. You will<br /> >hear more from our fearless leader, Kevin Armbrust as the writing is<br /> >organized. This list of participants was gleaned from the CRIS web<br /> >site (W-3045) so if you see people who should have been included, <br /> >please let them know.<br /> ><br /> >As has been the case previously, we will meet for dinner at a local <br /> >restaurant (TBD) on Sunday evening, and, following dinner, do the reviews<br /> >by the subcommittees designated by Kevin. The meetings and reviews will<br /> >begin on Monday morning and conclude on Tuesday morning and the <br /> >discussions and writing of the upcoming project will begin following <br /> >the reviews.<br /> ><br /> >We will have two hotels where you can stay- both are quite nice. If you<br /> >prefer a non-smoking, non-gambling hotel, the Whitney Peak hotel is where<br /> >you will want to make reservations. Early June is a very nice time of the year<br /> >at Lake Tahoe, but not as crowded as in August. Also, if there is <br /> >sufficient interest, I can get a tour at a marijuana grow (3-5 acres<br /> >indoor) on the way to Tahoe. These indoor facilities are highly<br /> >sophisticated and fascinating. <br />
