For our W3168 meeting in June in Corvallis, Oregon, here is some information:<br /> <br /> - The meeting date: June 28-30, 2018.<br /> - Airport: PDX, Portland, OR. It is about one hour and 45 min north of Corvallis.<br /> - Shuttle from the airport to Hilton Garden Inn, Corvallis each 2h. The shuttle cost $48 one way (for reservation, http://www.hutshuttle.com/).<br /> - The Hotel: Hilton Garden Inn, Corvallis (541-752-5000). The special group rate for the hotel is $149/night + taxes (10.8%). The reservation group code “W3168”.<br /> - We will have a van or two for our transportation in the campus, the seed production field, company, and dinner. Thanks to Jay, the head of the Crop & Soil Sci. Dep., for providing the van(s) and hosting our meeting.<br /> <br /> Tentative Agenda:<br /> <br /> - Thursday (6-28) pm: arrival to Hilton Garden Inn, Corvallis and informal dinner in the evening 7-9 pm.<br /> - Friday (6-29) 8:00am-12:00noon: Formal business meeting of the group (W3168) at the Crop & Soil Science Department.<br /> - Friday (1:00-3:00pm): Visit to a seed production field.<br /> - Friday (3:00-5:00pm): Visit to a seed company.<br /> - Friday (6:00-8:00pm): in Newport.<br /> - Saturday (6-30) am: Visit to OSU Seed Lab, Finish the meeting, and by noon will head back to PDX. <br /> <br /> Looking forward to seeing you all in Corvallis.<br />
