SUBJECT: NCCC-212 Hotel, make reservations by Sept. 29 if possible<br /> <br /> <br /> Hi Everyone. As mentioned earlier, our NCCC-212 meeting this year will be at the Days Inn Penn State, 240 S. Pugh St., State College, PA 16801. Our group rate is $94 per night plus tax, which puts the total charge per night at $101.99. <br /> <br /> To get the group rate, please call the hotel directly at 814-238-8454 rather than reserve online or through the 800 number. Either give them the group code CGN212 (not sure why those particular letters) or just say you are with the “Dept. of Plant Science”.<br /> <br /> The block is being held through Sept. 29, but will be released after that. The Days Inn will still honor the rate after that date, but just can’t guarantee that rooms will be available. If anyone encounters difficulties, please let me know by email at efz@psu.edu .<br /> <br /> The block of rooms is being held for the nights of Oct. 23, 24, 25, and 26, and the rate will also be $94 for Sun. Oct. 22 if anyone wants to come to town early. However, the rate goes up to $124 for Friday Oct. 27.
