I have been working on the plans for hosting the NE1010 annual meeting. I completed the arrangement for our hotel accommodation in Halifax. As indicated earlier, everyone can start their travel on July 24th You need to make your own arrangement to travel to the hotel.<br /> <br /> We will be staying at The Westin Nova Scotian (see attachment). Reservations: Please call 1-888-627-8553 and request the Papadopoulos-NE1010 Room Block rate of $149.00. Check-in/Check-out: Check in time is 3:00pm and check out time is 12:00pm Hotel will make every effort to accommodate requests, but cannot guarantee an early check in or late departure. Cut-off Date: The “cut-off date” for reserving rooms in the Room Block is 5:00 p.m. local time at Hotel on 23-Jun-2017. After the cut-off date, Hotel may accept additional reservations subject to prevailing rates and availability. Early Departure Fee: An early departure fee of $50.00 will apply if an attendee checks out prior to the checkout date. <br /> <br /> As indicated earlier, the plan is to start the business meeting and the research tour on Tuesday July 25th in Kentville. Kentville is one hour traveling time from the hotel. I will make the arrangement for transportation. I will also make the arrangement for a follow up meeting (if we need it) in the AM at the hotel on July 26th. The official business meeting will end no later than 12 PM on July 26th. As you may know, my research program is conducted at 2 locations in Nova Scotia; Kentville (one hour from Halifax) and Nappan (2 hours from Halifax). For those who are interested to visit the Nappan Research Farm where we conduct forage and beef research I can make arrangements for traveling to Nappan on July 26th.
