Dear Colleagues,<br /> <br /> We look forward to hosting you at Longwood Gardens for the NCAC-4 meeting on June 12 and 13 and for a day of regional garden tours on June 14. Tours of Longwood, including behind-the-scenes tours of research and production, will be interspersed with our working meetings on Monday and Tuesday. Philadelphia is known as America’s Garden Capital, with over 30 gardens within 30 miles. Although we won’t get to all of them, we’ll definitely take you to three spectacular gardens – Mt. Cuba Center, Winterthur, and Chanticleer – on Wednesday, June 14. <br /> <br /> To help us prepare for the meeting and to provide you an extraordinary experience at Longwood, please, complete our brief survey on SurveyMonkey by March 6. This will serve as your registration for the meeting, too.<br /> <br /> I suggest you plan to arrive on Sunday, June 11, and depart on Thursday, June 15, via Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) or Wilmington Amtrak Station (WIL). Longwood Gardens is located about 45 minutes’ drive from PHL and about 30 minutes’ drive from WIL. Should you need local transportation from PHL or WIL and return, we will provide complimentary transportation; just let us know via the above survey. Additionally, it is our pleasure to provide you complimentary light breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day. Your only costs will be airfare or trainfare into PHL or WIL and lodging at Hilton Garden Inn Kennett Square, the official conference hotel.
