2016 Annual NC-1201 Meeting in Kansas City<br /> Holiday Inn KCI (www.holidayinn.com/kciairport)<br /> <br /> <br /> Meeting dates: August 25-26<br /> <br /> Room reservations: (Book before August 4, 2016) Twelve rooms are blocked at the Holiday Inn KCI for the nights of August 24 and 25. Here is the link to their website so you can book your room via the internet. Once you are at the Holiday Inn KCI website, select arrival and departure dates, and then scroll down to Have A Group Code? Type in the code “KSU.” Room block rate is $104 for a king room.<br /> <br /> http://www.ihg.com/holidayinn/hotels/us/en/kansas-city/mkccr/hoteldetail<br /> <br /> Meals: The hotel has an in-house restaurant-sports bar (Burger Theory) for breakfast (not included in room rate). On Thursday (August 25), we will meet in the Platte County Extension office complex (starting at 8:00 a.m.) just across the street from the hotel. On Friday morning at 8:00 a.m., we will meet in the hotel (Pershing Room).<br /> <br /> We will have lunch brought in on Thursday. We will go to the Zona Rosa District for dinner that night. Options are Outback Steakhouse, Buffalo Wild Wings, Smokehouse Barbecue, Abuelo's Mexican, or the Hereford House. We ate at the Hereford House during our last KC meeting—a bit pricey so we can decide at the meeting.<br /> <br /> The Holiday Inn KCI is located less than 5 minutes from the KC airport and the hotel does have a shuttle. Once you have your baggage, call the hotel (816-841-1935), and step out to the middle island and wait for pickup there.<br /> <br /> Registration fee: Unless something breaks free at the Platte County Extension office on Friday, so we do not need to meet in the hotel, the registration will be approximately $20 per station.<br />
