The 2016 annual meeting of W3004 regional project, Marketing, Trade, and Management of Aquaculture and Fishery Resources will take place on Tuesday March 22 (Day 3 of CNREP 2016) from 1:30 to 5 PM at the Royal Sonesta Hotel in New Orleans.<br /> <br /> If you are interested in attending please note the following: These are listed in order of priority.<br /> <br /> 1. Book your hotel room now. <br /> The CNREP 2016 block is full, so please book directly through the hotel website or by calling reservations at: 1-504-586-0300. The do have some additional rooms available at a discount rate outside of our block. These are limited in number and will only be available only a limited time. Please don’t wait to make reservations, you can always cancel them is plans change (as long as the cancellation is 72 hours prior to arrival). The optimal plan would be to arrive on the afternoon of Sunday March 20th and stay for the entire event, checking out on the morning of Wednesday, March 23. <br /> <br /> 2. Register for the conference. <br /> The current rate is $400 for regular attendees and $300 for students. These rates will be increasing soon to $500 and $400 respectively, so register asap at: http://www.cnrep.lsu.edu/2016/registration.html<br /> Note: There is no one-day registration, so we encourage you to attend the full conference. We have ~ 160 presentations in 5 concurrent sessions and excellent keynote speakers. <br /> <br /> 3. Abstracts for w3004 session<br /> If you plan on making a technical presentation as part of the w3004 session, please send me a working title asap, and send me an abstract no later than January 31st. These should be 500 words maximum and can be sent via email as per the instructions here. Note: This extended call is open only for the W3004 session and there is very limited time available for presentations. These will be selected on a first come, first served basis and scheduled around the w3004 business meeting. I will leave the final agenda on this block up to Diego Valderrama.<br /> <br /> Thanks again and please urge everyone to move quickly on these tasks if they plan on attending.<br />
