The W3133 Multistate Project invites members and friends to participate in the 2016 Annual Meeting, February 25-26 2016 in vibrant Portland, Oregon. The meeting will follow the usual format by beginning with a welcome reception on the evening of February 24th followed by two days of presentations and project networking.<br />
<br />
Since its inception, and in its previous names and titles, W-3133 has made substantive contributions to the theory and practice of valuation of ecosystem goods and services. These values are essential inputs to decision-making that attempts to balance sustainable economic growth, environmental quality, and natural resource use and conservation to support a range of societal needs. W3133 promotes economics research around three objectives: <br />

(a) Objective 1: Land and Water Resource Management in a Changing Environment; <br />
(b) Objective 2: Economic Valuation Methods; and <br />
(c) Objective 3: Integrated Ecosystem Services Valuation and Management. <br />

We have negotiated a highly discounted room rate at the hotel of $169 for single and double occupancy per night. That room rate will be offered to people in our group 3 days before and 3 days after the event itself.<br />
